Well the fun is almost over. The last few days we went back to the snorkel spot from before. After that we mostly lounged around the pool and beach by our hotel. We have had a great time and cant wait to do it again.
Ono means delicious in Hawaii. We went snorkeling and also went to a place called the Olivine pools were there are pools of water from high tide and a blow hole. It was super fun and really close. ONO!!
When we first got to our snorkel sight I asked a little kid that was leaving if he had seen any fish, he said, "yeah it was like a big water aquarium." I could not have said it better. This was our water aquarium site.
Karen had her big pink raft as usual and got scared when a school of fish swarmed her. She swam back to shore as they followed her inches away the entire way back.
These are the Olivine pools. It is a little hike down the lava rocks but well worth it. We drove by these guys both ways on our little trip. They were yelling MAUI WAUI!!! Thats right they were selling, well you know. If you look to the right of my shaka you can see the guy holding up a bag of fun. No we didn't stop!!
On Saturday we mostly relaxed, ate food and lounged by the pool. We ate at the Hula girl were you eat with your feet in the beach sand. It was fun. See you soon we are off for a day of snorkeling.
If you have been on the road to Hana it is more about surviving the drive than anything. We did pretty good and we made it to Black Sand Beach were we took a little hike. It was fun but it was great to get back to the normal sand beach were we were staying after about six hours of driving round trip. We had about 62 pics but I am only going to post about a dozen. Enjoy!
When we got back we went to the Black Rock and watched the Sunset on our beach. No green flash.
